Using Personal Services Contracts for Medicaid Eligibility

Date

Sep 21 2022

Time

Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Promissory notes and Medicaid Compliant Annuities are effective tools to help your clients dispose of excess assets and qualify for Medicaid. But, in both instances, those assets are lost to a nursing home. In contrast, a Personal Services Contract allows your client to dispose of excess assets by giving them to a loved one in an exchange for value.

Wednesday, September 21

1:00 - 2:00 pm (EDT)

By attending this live webinar, presented by Brittney Shearin, Esq. and Erach Screwvala, Esq., you will learn how to:

  • Draft the Personal Services Contract
  • Dispose of excess assets effectively with the Personal Services Contract
  • Fine-tune the Personal Services Contract based on your client’s individual excess assets

We will take time to discuss situations where the Personal Services Contract can provide a better outcome than a promissory note or Medicaid Compliant Annuity for your client and their family.

There will also be time to engage directly with Erach and Brittney, so come ready with questions.

This webinar is open to Lawyers With Purpose members only.
